Greetings, Truthsome Ficcers! The lovely carmen_sandiego has recruited me to tally the voting for the ficathon awards. So, without further ado, here are the two categories in which you'll be casting your votes: Best Overall Fic and Best Use of the Prompt (winter and/or night).
Everyone can vote for up to three fics in each category, but you may NOT vote for the same fic more than once, i.e., you can't vote for the same things in both categories. In order to place your vote, simply comment to this entry. I've got comments screened so no one but me will be able to see how anyone else votes.
Voting will remain open from now through midnight (eastern time) next Tuesday night, February 27th. The master list of fics can be found here. Please take some time to read all the wonderful fics and vote for your favorites. There are banners at stake, people!

All right folks, the final deadline has passed! Here is the master list of all fics for this second Truthsome Ficathon round. The fics are listed in the order they were posted - fics in the first week are at the top of the list, fics just recently posted are at the bottom. If I have missed something, please comment below.
For the upcoming voting I am enlisting the help of hannasus, another fic writer in Firefly 'verse and other fandoms; She has not participated in this current ficathon and is happy to assist in tallying votes. You'll find information coming about that in the next few days. In the mean time: Anyone need anything to read? ;)

A/N: This is a bit unconventional for a Firefly fic and it wasn't the original story I was going to post, which is probably the reason why I'm two weeks late. I spent a lot of time researching for this story and the only main problems I came across was with some of the languages I used (hold your mouse over the phrase to see its meaning). I'm only knowledgeable in a little bit of Latin, Spanish, and Italian, so, if anyone notices anything incorrect (about anything, not just the languages), please feel free to correct me! Also, please don't let all the different languages scare you! :)

Attention all ficcers! If you your week has passed but you have not posted yet, please don't have guilt. Have fic instead! Keep writing and posting. I am officially announcing this week, Week 6: Amnesty Week, February 12-19 (Until MONDAY) as one last gasp for anyone who has not posted to still get their fic in. Because hey, I'm the mod and so I figure I can be like that, on a whim. Participant banners will go out to those who finished on time - but voting will be eligible for ALL who submit.
For ALL participants, remember that there will be voting at the end of all of this (more detail on that to come next week) - so with that in mind please try to read as many of these fics as possible and support your fellow ficcers with some feedback. Many of these stories have been posted for weeks, so I'm sure you've read many of them already, right? ;)

Summary: A perspective on the "seasons" of Mal's life and how that relates to Inara.

A/N: This is a first attempt for me and I thought that I was never going to post this because it needs a LOT of work. The beginning is slow and a little repetative but it does get to the Inara parts eventually, although not as Mal/Inara centered as I would like. I am SO, not a writer, but I'm happy that I made the attempt. I hope that some of you enjoy it! :)

Summary: Mal and Inara finally get it right, then have to deal with the loss of her father. Stubborn hearts and grief. Not angsty, kinda sad in bits.
Word Count: 6000 plus. Don't run away, the parts are broken up with letters. You'll see, just read it!
A/N: THis fic took some time to simmer, and I am just glad, with the help of terimaru and browncoat_2x2, it was finally edible. So to speak. Thanks for the help and support, ladies!
